In T20, bowlers must bowl at least 2 overs and in ODIs, 3 overs and in T10, 1 over to win economy rate points.

The strike rate points system applies only to batsmen.

50 – 59.99 runs every 100 balls -4

90 – 100 runs every 100 balls -2
80 – 89.99 runs every 100 balls -4
Below 80 runs every 100 balls -6

 

To earn strike rate points, the batsman must face 10 balls (in T20), 20 balls (in ODI), and 5 balls (in T10).
